Re: No Tap Doubles

No taps were fun tonight. However, I don't think it was fair to change the Super Strike Shot in the middle of the ticket draw to a regular 1 strike shot. We were told at first, that the super shot would be 1 ticket worth $220. You must get two natural strikes in order to win.  After 4 people couldn't get the 1st strike, then they announced that they were splitting the money for two shots worth $110. Then they announced that only 1 strike would be necessary to win. What is the point of having a super shot that is just the same as a regular strike pot?

Re: No Tap Doubles

Armadilla has historically reduced the Super Pots from a double for all the money to a 1 strike shot for two 1/2's.

I never liked it either... but, it would be better if you still had to throw a double.

Just my opinion.  they also have to get finished so the glow bowlers can get on the lanes.

How many couples bowled?  There was alot of chatter about people going up to bowl...

Re: No Tap Doubles

I don't have a problem splitting the shot into 2 1/2s. I think they should have told us at the beginning when they were calling out the numbers. They shouldn't have changed the rules to only one strike in the middle of the shot, just because no one could hit it.They should have told us when we were buying the tickets that it was only going to be a regular shot. I realize that they wanted to get the glow bowlers in, however, they could have spread us out  a little more. There were 10 people on a pair. We could have been spread out between 1-12, instead we were on 3-10. This way we could have gotten through faster.
