GREATER PASADENA USBC FUNDRAISING TOURNAMENT
The 1ST AnnualGPUSBC Bowl for the Cure Fundraising Tournament is open to adults wanting to participate in a fundraising effort with proceeds to benefit the USBC Bowl for the Cure Charity. Per USBC Rule #400 Youth bowlers are not allowed to participate in a team tournament where prizes are offered.
This tournament will consist of three (3) games regular bowling. Bowlers will use their highest 2008/2009 BOOK AVERAGEof 21 games or more from any Association. If a bowler has no VERIFIABLE BOOK AVERAGE, the bowler will use their highest current LEAGUE average of 12 games or more as of October 3, 2009. BOWLER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING A VERIFICATION LETTER FROM THEIR LEAGUE OR ASSOICATION. BOWL.COM MAY BE USED TO VERIFY AVERAGES.
IF THE BOWLER HAS NO BOOK AVERAGE OR CURRENT AVERAGE AS STATED ABOVE, THEY WILL BE ASSIGNED AN AVERAGE OF 160 FOR MEN, 130 FOR WOMEN.
(Tournament management reserves the right to re-rate any bowler.)
Teams will consist of four (4) members. All men, all women or combinations of any ratio is acceptable.
Trophies will be awarded to the Top 3 teams as determined by total score with handicap.
Optional Brackets & High game pots available for those participants interested in
competing for prize money.
Tournament Information
v Each team will consist of four (4) members any ratio of men, women or mixed.
v Each team will bowl three (3) games with regular scoring
v Handicap will be 90% of the difference of the bowler’s average from 210
v Entry fee is $120.00 per team.
v Bowlers are encouraged to obtain individual donations to contribute at the tournament site
v All bowlers will receive a commemorative t-shirt
v Raffles, live and silent auction items available throughout the event
v Early registration recommended: Deadline September 26, 2009. Register early Two (2) squads only @ Noon & 3:30. Check in @ 11:00 or 3:00
v Each Team receives a gift bag.
v Lane & Table Sponsorships available.
