GPUSBC Charities

Dear Bowlers,

Many of you may not be aware the GPUSBC has aligned with USBC and has pledged our support to the certified charities as established on a national level.

These charities are:  Bowlers to Veterans Link (BVL), Bowl for the Cure (Komen for the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation) and The International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame.

Beginning in early November, we will be raffling off bottles of Crown Royal, or conducting 50/50 drawings each night of the week to raise money for the BVL.

Veteran's Day is in November, so we usually raffle off about that same time.

We are proud to have donated close to $1,500 each year to the BVL and we hope to increase our amount again this year.

We can't do it without your help.

Please listen to the announcements and help out our veterans.

BVL is proud to publish 83% of all donations go directly to helping veterans with the purchase of arts and craft supplies and reading materials used in aftercare facilities and also, by financing portable carpet lane kits to send to those on active duty in the Middle East.

Additional fund raisers will be held later in the year for the Bowl for the Cure and IBMHoF.

We personally present them with our donations at the USBC Annual Meeting and Convention.  This year will be in Reno, NV at the end of May.
