The deadline for the October 2009 Bowler of the Month is October 24th. Make sure you get your nomination forms turned in. Please nominate any deserving team members. The form may be found on the forum home page, the website hompage in the right hand panel or at Armadilla 1 Bowling Lanes. Seems like voting is messed up. They have a woman listed in the men's section and a Youth listed in the woman's section. Doesn't seem fair to the woman or youth to be listed in the incorrect catagory.

WOW, we have over 400 registered users. Now, I know many are repeats, and some of you forget passwords and log-in credentials, so, you just re-register, but, I have kept track of registration numbers and we had 188 at the time of November's voting deadline, and now as I said, over 400... I hope you people are looking around at other stuff on the website and not just voting on the winner of a $10 T-Shirt... LOL Regardless, we welcome all of you and hope this site is something you utilize and visit regularly. David

Well, the October voting for the Male Bowler of the Month has been neck and neck for several days. Voting is scheduled to continue thru Sunday 11/23... so, if you have not already done so, register and cast your vote. Also, make note of any worthwhile nominees for November's contest. We will be voting on some worthy Youth achievements from their City Tournament, but, let's make note of any adult male or female accomplishments and get a nomination form turned in... Remember, it is not just 300's and 800's that may be nominated, it could be bowling a series way over your average, a great game or series for a lower averaged bowler is just as worthy as a 300/ 800 by a higher averaged bowler... Let's say a League Secretary or bowler organizes a bunch of teams and coordinates all the entries etc. for our City Tournaments coming up in March... THAT would be an event that could well win bowler of the year... could you imagine that type of support for our city tournament? A block of 10 or 12 teams out of any one league??? I would LOVE it...

There is a nomination form you can download. It is on the forum main page or click here. The file is a word doc so you can edit it. You can give this form to any GPUSBC member or email it to 'mailto:pasadenabowling@yahoo.com'>pasadenabowling@yahoo.com. After the nominations are turned in we will have on-line voting for the winner. A Male, Female and Youth will be chosen.
