David has served on the board since 2003 because he felt like it was time to pay back for all the good things that happened to him during his bowling career. David was inducted into the Pasadena Bowling Hall of Fame in 2003 & has received several honor as a board member.

David started bowling at age 17, after aging out of organized baseball, because his aunt & uncle bowled on a league. He has bowled 15-300 games & 7-800 series (836 bowled in 1991 at Hurricane Lanes was a Pasadena Record for 2 years), all right-handed. Left-handed his high game is 257 & high series is 652. Currently, David bowls in 3 leagues (2 in Pasadena, 1 in Houston).

Rusty began bowling at the age of 5 in Austin, Texas. He has bowled 21-300 games and has a high series of an 826. Of all the honors Rusty has received over the years since he began bowling, his induction into the Pasadena Hall of Fame was the most special of all.

Jimmy started as an Auxilliary Director for PBA & replaced a retiring PBA Director for 3 years. He has served on the GPUSBC board for 5 years and has been honored with the director of the Year Award in both associations. He is currently a coordinator of the youth leagues on Saturday mornings.

Vel Brown Vel Brown Vel started bowling in the early 60's at Old Pasadean Bowl on Angelina St. when she was in her mid 20's. Martha Dorin talked her into running for the board about four years later and shes been on the board off and on ever since. Vel enjoys meeting the bowlers and trying to answer any questions that they have. Her high game is a 257 and high series is 656. Vel only bowls in one league at this time and subs in another one. James Cermin James Cermin James has been bowling since age 15 in youth leagues (then known as AJBC) leagues in San Antonio. Currently he bowls on one league a week. He has 3 sanctioned 300 games and one 800 series (810). James has participated in the USBC National Tournament for 18 straight years. He was honored to be the Pasadena City Champion in 1989. James has served on the Pasadena Board of Directors for more than 20 years. Gail started bowling as a youth at Pasadena Bowl. She bowls one night a week in the fall. She enjoys bowling in tournaments, especially no-taps. Verna Kennedy Verna Kennedy Verna began bowling in 1959 in Lafayette, La. She was city association secretary in Franklin, La. and when she moved to Pasadena she became an active board member where she has beenon the board on and off for over 40 years. Verna, along with Elmer Aden, had a Volunteer of the Year Award named after them. Verna loves bowling because the sport is competition, exercise, and a social event all rolled into one. Michele Reeves Michele Reeves Michele was 9 years old when she started bowling at Fairlanes Spencer Square. She really loves the sport of bowling and that is what helped her make the decision to run for the board. She currently bowls on 2 leagues. Her highest game is 279 and her best series is 718. Lori Wright Lori Wright At age 19, Lori Wright began her bowling career at Federal Lanes. Since that time, she has earned a high game of 298 and was a member of the 2010 Pasadena City Championship Team All Jacked Up. Lori bowls on 2 leagues during the fall and 2 during the summer. Her main interest in serving on the GPUSBC Board is she wants to be active in an organization that benefits the whole family. She has 3 girls, Ashley, Taylor, & Alexis, all of which are improving yearly in YABA. Angie currently bowls in four summer leagues, as well as, begining travel league for the upcoming season.
